Sophie: Where do you see InkSlinger going in the future? KP: InkSlinger PR exists to help authors get the word out about themselves and their titles. It’s gone from just me and a small list of clients that are fantastic to an entire team and a much bigger list of clients that are fantastic. Sophie: How has it grown? KP: A LOT! It’s amazing to see how InkSlinger PR has grown in the last 2 years. While doing both of those things, I also blogged a bit on one of my best friend’s book sites. Sophie: What did you do before InkSlinger? KP: I worked in Marketing and PR on the corporate side of things, and I was a music teacher.
I saw a need in the literary community and thought I could fill it-that I had to do it really-and then I couldn’t let go of that idea. Sophie: How did it get started? KP: Have you ever had a moment in your life where you knew you had to do something and that you would never be completely right if you didn’t do it? That was me when it came to InkSlinger PR.
